Permanent account deletion
Delete your Chalk Arcade account
You can permanently delete your account directly in Chalk Arcade. If you no longer have the app, submit a deletion request by email below.
Delete directly in the app
This is the fastest route and completes deletion after your confirmation:
- Sign in to the Chalk Arcade account you want to delete.
- Open Settings.
- Under Privacy, choose Delete account.
- Type DELETE exactly as shown.
- Choose Delete permanently.
This cannot be undone. The account and associated cloud data described below are permanently removed. You will be signed out.
Request deletion without the app
You do not need to reinstall Chalk Arcade. Send the request from the email address used for your Chalk Arcade account. This lets us locate the account and begin a safe ownership check.
If you used Sign in with Apple and chose Hide My Email, your account may use an Apple private relay address. Include that address or your generated player alias if you know it. If you cannot send from the account address, explain this in your request so we can arrange an ownership check. Do not send authentication tokens.
An online guest account has no email address. If you can no longer open it in the app, tell us your generated player alias if you know it, and the Game Center or Google Play Games name you used with Chalk Arcade with the approximate dates, so we can find and delete the guest account and any gaming-profile record stored with it.
Email a deletion request
To: [email protected]
Subject: Delete my Chalk Arcade account
We will reply with the minimum steps needed to verify ownership. We will never ask for your password or a one-time verification code. After ownership is verified, we will complete the request as soon as reasonably possible and within 30 days, unless law permits or requires a longer period. We will confirm when it is complete or explain any data that must temporarily be retained.
Data deleted with the account
Deletion is designed to remove account-owned cloud data, including:
- the authentication account, linked sign-in identity records, provider profile metadata, email association, and internal user ID;
- profile, generated account handle and player alias, optional country, and profile settings;
- friends and pending friend requests;
- cloud game and level progress, completed levels, best times, collections, and favourites;
- account activity, statistics, and history tied to the account;
- gaming-profile records: the Game Center or Google Play Games player identifier, display name, platform, app build, and first and last seen times recorded with the account;
- active matchmaking requests and account membership in private rooms; and
- account entitlements maintained by Chalk Arcade, subject to the storefront note below.
Current in-app deletion removes the signed-in authentication record; account-owned product rows are configured to delete with it. Online room data is also short-lived under the service's ordinary retention schedule.
Data that may be retained
We may retain only limited information when necessary, such as:
- transaction or purchase evidence required for accounting, fraud prevention, refunds, or legal compliance;
- security, abuse, and support records needed to protect players or resolve a dispute;
- temporary encrypted backups until they rotate out under the provider's backup schedule; and
- aggregated or de-identified information that no longer identifies the account.
We isolate retained information from normal product use, keep it only for the applicable purpose and retention period, then delete or de-identify it. Apple and Google maintain their own storefront account and purchase history under their policies; deleting Chalk Arcade does not delete your Apple ID or Google Account.
Apple, Google, and gaming profiles
Deleting your Chalk Arcade account does not delete your Apple Account or Google Account. Signing out is also different from removing a provider's permission to sign you in.
If a usable Apple token is unavailable when you delete your account, the app will direct you to remove the remaining Sign in with Apple permission yourself. You can do this at account.apple.com under Sign-In and Security → Sign in with Apple: select Chalk Arcade and stop using Sign in with Apple for it. This extra step does not delay deletion of your Chalk Arcade data. See Apple's instructions. You can manage Google sign-in access in your Google Account connections.
If automatic Apple revocation fails, the app offers a separate Delete without Apple option. You must confirm deletion again. This removes your Chalk Arcade account through our account service and shows the manual Apple permission-removal steps.
Game Center and Google Play Games use a separate gaming profile. Deleting a Chalk Arcade account removes the gaming-profile record Chalk Arcade stored with that account, but does not erase achievements held by those services or delete the gaming profile itself. Manage that data and its visibility with Apple or Google. The app's local achievement counters are attached to the gaming profile, not the deleted Chalk account; clear app storage to remove local counters.
Subscriptions and purchases
If your version offers a paid subscription, deleting the app or your Chalk Arcade account does not cancel the subscription. Cancel it separately in the Apple App Store or Google Play account used to make the purchase. Storefront refund and transaction records are controlled by Apple or Google.
Local guest data
A local guest does not have a Chalk Arcade cloud account for us to delete. Guest progress and settings remain on the device. To remove them, clear Chalk Arcade's storage in device settings or uninstall the app. This permanently removes local-only progress and cannot be undone.
If you continued as a guest while online, the app may have created an online guest account. While that guest session is still on your device, you can delete it with the in-app steps above; this also removes any gaming-profile record stored with it. Clearing app storage or uninstalling only removes the guest session from the device, so delete in the app first.
